MEMO: From the Desk of God

You don't have to watch CSI to know that whether you can see them or not every surface is blanketed with fingerprints. It doesn't even take a forensic scientist to know that each and every person is walking around with a fingerprint so unique that not another person in this world shares the EXACT same one. Each and everyone of us leaves our signature on each and every door knob we touch, magazine we flip through at the grocery store check-stand, and silverware we touch at the local eatery. Although we may not be consciously be thinking of the mark that we are leaving everywhere we go, we will never deny this fact. But...have you ever thought about or considered that maybe even God has a fingerprint. His fingerprint, no different than ours, is not going to be seen with the naked eye. And it certainly is not going to be seen if we don't look for it. But, I guarantee if you begin to look for His fingerprint in each and every situation, trial and triumph alike, He will give you a pair of spiritual eyes that will allow you to see His siganture everywhere you go! His fingerprint is the post-it note on your mirror as you get ready in the morning saying, "Don't forget: I knit you together and knew all there is to know about you before you were ever born into this world." His fingerprint is the post-it note on the door as you make your way to work or school saying, "I am with you today wherever you may go." His fingerprint is the post-it note on your coffee cup that you reach for when you are needing a boost to make it through the day saying, "Don't forget: "I am your strength. Rely on me." His fingerprint is the post-it note on your highly-praised accomplishments saying, "Don't forget: I was the One who enabled you to do this." His fingerprint is the post-it note on the half empty bottle of water you reach for at the gym saying, "Don't forget: I give you water that will last forever." His fingerprint is the post-it note on the doctor's office door saying, "Don't forget: I will take care of you." His fingerprint is the post-it note on your cellphone saying, "Don't forget: you can talk to me anytime." His fingerprint is the post-it note on your stereo, saying "Don't forget to listen for my voice. I have somehting I would like to tell you." His fingerprint is the post-it note on your bedroom window, that, as you draw back the curtains after a good nights rest, says, "Don't forget: Look for Me today!"
