If you are ever in need of some entertainment, a day of fun or a late night laughing fest, hang-out with our interns! They will lift your spirits and put the icing on the cake of a long and tiring week! I love our interns! Following a late night of laughter and unusual happenings...that shall remain undocumented as long as possible...I opted to take the interns on a hike up Eagle Mountain, one of the three mountains on our property. It is a hike of medium intensity compared to the other two, but will never be comparable to Mooihoek, the most strenuous of them all. Nonetheless, the apex of any hiking trip, is the moment in which each person places a rock on top of the rock pile that has been underconstruction by all of those who have made it to the summit of any of the three mountains before you. So, as was custom, I placed my rock...but that Sunday afternoon, I was feeling a bit out of character, seeing that I could not bear the thought that anyone would place their rock on top of mine. So, at an attempt to have the final rock placement before our descension, I set out to create a rock tower that would not withstand the weight of even the smallest pebble! It was a success...
