Rare Dilemma of Discomforting Effect

Every year, winter brings many problems or discomforts...but until today, I had forgotten about one of the many challenging dilemmas...Imagine yourself working in an office. It is winter. There is no central heat, and, to give you an even better idea of what it was like for me today, there isn't even electricity to power a small fan heater. You have coffee in one hand...but it is so useful in keeping your insides warm you can barely get yourself to put it down long enough to open your computer bag the first step in getting your work-day started. You are sitting at a desk all bundled up-layers of clothing, winter coat buttoned to your chin, hat, scarf and gloves. You fianlly muster the motivation to let go of your coffee in order to get your laptop is open. You go to perform your ritual functions...which with any laptop computer usually requires the use of a mouse/touchpad in order to even begin...oh wait...you have gloves on...your touch pad doesn't know you are touching it...so what must you do...remove one of the key garments...the gloves...that is okay for a while...but before long you notice your hands are starting to get really cold, making you somewhat uncomfortable...what do you do? This is my dilemma...and of which I have only found 2 possible solutions at present...Solutions #1: I don't where gloves...and let my hands be cold... Solution #2: I wear one glove...and use the touchpad with only one hand...and when that hand gets cold switch gloves...What would you do? Have any other novel ideas?
